After long expectations, the competition notice for teachers at the Pernambuco State Network was finally published in the State Gazette this Wednesday (1st). There will be 2,907 places for all basic education subjects.
There are vacancies for teachers who teach in 13 areas of knowledge. The biggest offer is for Portuguese and mathematics. Together, these two subjects result in 1,103 vacancies.

Registration for the event begins on June 23rd and ends on July 18th. The selection process will be carried out by the Brazilian Center for Research in Evaluation and Selection and Promotion of Events (Cebraspe). The registration fee is R$ 130.
The tests with discursive and objective questions will take place on August 21st. The competition will be held in 13 cities in Pernambuco: Afogados de Ingazeira, Araripina, Arcoverde, Caruaru, Floresta, Garanhuns, Limoeiro, Nazaré da Mata, Palmares, Petrolina, Recife, Salgueiro and Vitória de Santo Antão.
The competition was announced by the governor of Pernambuco, Paulo Câmara, in October last year. For a 200-hour day, the base salary is R$ 3,900. For 150 hour ticket R$ 2,925. These amounts do not include tips.
According to secretary Marcelos Barros, the competition should be concluded later this year. However, nominations and appointments of those admitted must be reserved for the next year.
The last competition for teachers in the Pernambuco State Network was held in 2015, when 2,400 job offers were received in six subjects (Portuguese, Physical Pedagogy, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology). Between 2017 and 2020 there were around 4,900 nominations.
