It's easier to get a personal loan without leaving home. Banco do Brasil has set up a line of credit that will be contracted by WhatsApp, the most used messaging application in the country.

The tool allows the customer to simulate the terms of the operation to obtain values, number of installments and interest rates to find out. All of this varies according to the candidate's profile.

According to the institute, credit via WhatsApp is an old customer requirement. In addition to new contracts, the platform can be used to monitor the bank statements of those who already have an active personal loan at BB.

BB customers can now access credit card statements and invoices via Messenger, in addition to electronic transfers, payments, Pix and debt renegotiations. According to the bank, more than 23 million virtual consultations were carried out in the last 90 days.

Plans are being made to expand the number of financial products and services offered by the application, including payroll loans and IR reimbursement, expectation of the 13th salary and a loan to purchase a vehicle in the coming months.
