Participation in the program is possible until June 27th for citizens registered in the Single Registry (CadÚnico).
A new opportunity is open for those who want to obtain their CNH (national driver's license) without paying anything. The CNH Social program receives applications from residents of the city of Maceió, capital of Alagoas.
The CNH Social program – Initial Traffic Skills and Inclusion of Beginner Drivers is an initiative of the Transport Social Service – SEST and the National Transport Education Service – SENAT.
The project gives young people from the city center access to the first free driver's license in the country.
The 100 opportunities available are for people registered in the Single Registry (CadÚnico) who meet all the rules indicated below:
- Be at least 18 years old;
- know how to read and write;
- have ID and CPF;
- have a monthly family income of up to R$ 550 reais per person;
- have only one NIS per family; * 100005*Have an active email;
- Provide proof of residence in Maceió with a valid zip code;
- You have no legal restrictions to obtain a driver's license.
How do I register?
The registration deadline ends on June 7th on the WEEKS (Community Social Assistance Secretariat). The interested party must create a registration to access the system and send the necessary documents.
The list of names of candidates whose registration was validated will be published on June 27th on the City Hall website.
Anyone admitted can acquire their first driving license free of charge in the motorcycle (A) or car (B) categories. Practical and theoretical classes take place in 12 driving schools that are partners of the program.
