Changing the validity of the driver's license

The validity period of the document has been changed. Now it varies depending on the age of the driver. For example, drivers under 50 must now validate the document every 10 years.

For drivers between 50 and 69 years old, the renewal period is reduced by half and must be done every five years. Drivers aged 70 and over must renew their driver's license every three years.

New Points Rules for Driver's License Ban

One of the changes in the new CTB is the number of points allowed on the CNH. Overall, the maximum number of points has increased from 20 to 40 points, with a change in the number of very serious violations committed. See the list below:

Two or more particularly serious violations in a 12-month period: 20 points;
One particularly serious violation within a 12-month period: 30 points;
Excluding any serious violations Violation within 12 months: 40 points.

Use of child safety seats

Children's safety was also reinforced after updating the CTB rules. Now the child's height is also taken into consideration in addition to age.

This means that children under 10 years of age who are not yet 1.45 meters tall must be transported in the back seat and use the equipment. Storage.
