A new installment of the Vale-gás federal benefit will be paid to millions of families from June 17th.
A new installment of national gas credit will be paid to Brazilians from June 17th. In April, around 5.6 million families received the benefit created to help buy cooking gas cylinders.
Although the number is quite significant, it does not come close to the total number of people who meet the rules to receive the aid. Then review the requirements and how to request the fuel voucher.
Who is entitled to receive the Gas Voucher?
The program is aimed at families with active registration in the Single Registry (CadÚnico) and who meet the following requirements:
Per capita family income of up to half the minimum wage (R$606), including beneficiaries of income transfer programs implemented by the three powers; or
Have a beneficiary of the Continuous Payment Benefit (BPC) among your family members.
Generally, the value of the gas aid must be equal to 50% of the national average price of 13 kg cylinders, as determined by the National Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels Agency (ANP). For this reason, it is not fixed and is usually published before each calendar.
How to register?
Beneficiaries are automatically selected by the Ministry of Citizenship. Interested parties should go to the Social Assistance Reference Center (CRAS) or the nearest Correios Auxílio Brasil branch and register with CadÚnico.
Every two months, new families are selected in an authorized manner according to the priority criteria established by the government.
Deposits are made after the approved Social Identification Number (NIS) expires. Check out the full calendar:
