The deadline to request forgotten PIS/Pasep money began on March 31 and is still ongoing. To access this benefit, the worker must contact the Minister of Labor and Social Security directly.

Requirements to receive PIS/Pasep

• Receive up to two monthly minimum wages on average;
• Work with a formal contract for at least 30 days, continuous or not;
• Registered with PIS/Pasep for at least 5 years;
• Have the correct data in the Annual Social Information Report (Rais) or eSocial.
• Caixa Econômica Federal takes care of transmitting PIS to employees of private companies, while Pasep makes paid employees from Banco do Brasil onwards.

How to request the allowance?

As mentioned above in our article, the interested party must submit a formal request for reissuance through one of the following channels:

Regional units of the Department of Labor or email work.uf @economia.gov.br, replacing uf with the acronym of the state in which you reside.

Remember that the deadline for withdrawal is December 29th. That is, if you do not withdraw the funds within the deadline, you will have to wait until the next bonus is released to place a new order.
