The Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), which already has complementary selections underway, has just published another notice with the same purpose. According to Notice No. 11/2022, this new IBGE selection process brings 913 vacancies for the positions of Municipal Census Officer (ACM) and Census Supervisor (ACS) that will complement the offer of Selection No. 09/2021.
Those interested in these two roles must have completed high school and meet some basic requirements such as:
- Auditory and verbal communication skills to conduct interviews and collect data;
- Visual acuity to read and complete questionnaires and forms and interpret maps and sketches;
- Movement skills to perform field work;
- Motor skills, to handle mobile collection devices; and
- Agility to complete tasks.
Selection process: Location of vacancies
The states with vacancies are: Acre, Goiás, Minas Gerais, Mato Grosso do Sul, Mato Grosso, Pará, Paraná, Rio de Janeiro, Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina. To view the nominal list of municipalities, click on the vacancy table.
Of the total vacancies, 813 are highly competitive, 85 are reserved for black or mixed race people and 15 are reserved for people with disabilities.
Remuneration
The remuneration of the Municipal Census Agent is R$ 2,100.00 and that of the Census Supervisor Agent is R$ 1,700.00, both plus food, transportation and preschool assistance, in addition to vacation and the 13th installment of the salary.
The contract period is up to five months and can be extended if necessary, the weekly working hours are 40 hours.
