It has become easier to get a personal loan without leaving home. Banco do Brasil has set up a line of credit that will be contracted by WhatsApp, the most widely used messaging app in the country.

The tool allows the client to simulate the terms of the operation to obtain values, number of installments and interest rates to find out. All of this varies according to the candidate's profile.

According to the institute, credit via WhatsApp is a long-standing customer requirement. In addition to new contracts, the platform can be used to monitor bank statements for those who already have an active personal loan with BB.

BB customers can now access credit card statements and invoices via Messenger, as well as electronic transfers, payments, Pix and debt renegotiations. According to the bank, more than 23 million virtual consultations were carried out in the last 90 days.
